Who knows what they will do with all that decred asic hardware?! They will probably 51% attack the network! I heard that they sold 1 million miners!

I do not normally chime in... and this is the very short version. In part but not limited too - The "off switch" was never disclosed to everyone publicly so that informed decisions could be made about buying the their asic, a different asic, gpu rig, other, or investing in their company in any manner. Many bought the A3 to as there was no mention about an "off switch" against competitors (also legal issues with that) , they left themselves open to a massive class action law suite to say the least.
It is in their best interest to focus on growth and it is the only thing that will ensure the companies future success. Sia is a brilliant idea and it will go very very far if it has a focus on growth and refinement of the product and the industry as a whole. It must hold to its core value of decentralization.
