You can start mining after your first plot file right away, if you've set the reward assignment to the chosen pool. For Linux I think you can use https://github.com/alter3d/creepMiner. I've sent you a PM for some starting BURST.

I downloaded and compiled the miner. It's waiting for first plot file, it will be ready in 13 hours Undecided

But once that's done, I can start mining

I've tried to register my reward assignment on 50-50-pool.burst.cryptoguru.org, but I got an error. I guess I need 1 BURST in order to do that. Let me know once you send it
