DNP you're right, the satoshi market is somewhat weak. I was going to send the coins there, but satoshi at the beginning of January fell a few days and I have my doubts.

Don't send anything to TS until they update their wallet... just in case they don't update their wallet...
Regarding the 2.3.x wallet... did you resync the blockchain from scratch or just jump into it with your old chain?
