I have dealt with Chinese suppliers and what I'm seeing on Alibaba is concerning.

Regardless of the outcome the lack of any communication seals it for me. Yifu signed into his account some time ago but didn't bother to say anything and left people hanging. People start talking litigation and he appears within hours.... Amazeballs

I kind of doubt it, I mean #1 some of the shipments did go out.  So the stuff on Alibaba could be legit buyers who just happened to be in the first batch of chips.

Secondly, these intermediary companies - they'd be risking a lot of their reputation if they took a clients chip for any reason. And of course the chips depreciate like crazy.  If the chips have actually been sitting in a warehouse somewhere they've probably lost about half of their value (Of course, if it's really true there are 2 million chips out there then that's 200% of the current network - once they come online they automatically take value from eachother)

If whoever has these chips isn't selling them, they're going to be worthless pretty soon (when KnC, Labcoin, HashFast, BTCGarden, etc come online)

The interesting thing about chip sales is that the more you sell, the less value they hold. BFL is telling all their customers who complain about the difficulty that the reason they diff is going up is because they're shipping units. But if that's true they obviously sold units knowing that just from their other customer orders their clients would never make ROI.

If you can keep the diff low while taking orders by delaying, you'll make way more money.
