Will Kid Rock talk Trump at Tampas NHL All-Star Game? You can bet on itHere is an excerpt:
When Kid Rock was announced as the in-game headliner for Sunday's NHL All-Star Game in Tampa, Twitter went a little nuts.
At issue was the Motor City motormouth's conservative and at time controversial politics, from his past use of the Confederate flag to his loud and proud support of President Donald Trump.
The NHL, presumably, wants no part of any of this. In an interview with ESPN, Steve Mayer, the league's vice president and executive director for programming and creative development, said the NHL's decision was "all about the entertainment," and "our sole objective is to choose musical acts to perform at our events and entertain our fans."
But at least one oddsmaker thinks there's a chance Kid Rock will stray from the script.
European sports book Bookmaker.eu on Thursday began taking bets on an intriguing prop bet for Sunday's NHL All-Star Game: Will Rock mention Trump during his performance between the second and third periods at Amalie Arena?
Right now, the smart money's on no. The site is posting minus-450 odds that Rock will keep his politics to himself, meaning you'd have to bet $450 just to win $100. If you're the gambling type, the odds that Rock WILL mention Trump are plus-325, meaning a bet of $100 will win a cool $325.You can read the entire article here:
