That's partially why I sped up work on merit. I don't agree with using the trust system for pure spam; that's not what it was designed for.

The only way I can punish spammers on a mass scale now is by contributing to signature campaign blacklists, which I have doneI pasted a list to aTriz's thread containing all the spam negatives I sent out.
Merit farmers can still be tagged though.
