The old kittehcoin has more computers on it's network than a lot of coins that are listed. Why is the old fork still so active? The lynx website obviously is done well, very competently designed, but should have some new ideas. The big issue with coin s seems to be scalability and speed. If a coin can say it has the fastest block time and enough blocks per hour that scalability won't come up for a while, it could get a lot of use soon. Also there is a strong appeal of multi algorhythm coins like myriad, digital coin etc. Adding that feature might make it more secure and would make it more popular. As for real innovations I have a bunch of this coin so I hope somebody figures out a good idea.
