I've realised some time ago that the best strategy for someone who has a day job is to accumulate, follow, and occassionally, rebalance your portfolio, of coins of project which you sincerely believe in (a) the team (b) the idea (c) the technology.

With such a strategy it is natural that people follow developments of the projects they support, and inquisitive followers will surely ask questions - I am one of them
