I did not try the installer yet. I deleted everything again except wallet.dat and let the client resync. Again after some time wallet crashed again. I'll give the installer a go now.

Edit: Tried the installer and after one hour the wallet crashed again. I have various other wallets on that machine that work flawlessly. In that one hour the wallet was running fine staking did not work either. Please advise.
