The market of crypto currencies is so unpredictable that you can expect any incredible things. In my opinion, in 2018 the ethereum will grow faster than bitcoin. But the probability that ethereum overtake bitcoin is small enough. 
I agree.. I believe ETH would be higher in price in the future.. maybe $3-4k in the end of this year,, and ofcourse we can hope for more than $10k like BTC...
But I think when that time comes, BTC price will be higher too..
BTC is the mother of all crypto,, and I think BTC price will be the highest among all coins ~
