You miss the goal of cryptocurrency here, it is not some investment!.
Cryptocurrency was created to facilitate low fees, fast transaction time that no one can control. Not some buy and hold and profit.
Of course cryptocurrencies themselves weren't created in order for people to just invest money in them, especially for a long term period. But it does happen afterall, investments pur in =)
Yes youre right, Bitcoin was made to facilitate low fees and fast transaction time. But what makes you think that people wont see it as an investment when the price is volatile as crazy. Take a look at PayPal, PayPal was meant just for making transactions and uses dollars, and it is not some kinda stuff you put money and it starts going up and down like crazy. So Bitcoin is not just for making transactions, it is also for making investment.

I have been trading for 10 years in the stock market and trading a year in crypto. Winning and losing is always part of trading. If you lost your 110k the do not blame the market because you are the one who click the buy and sell button.
