Not afraid at all to be honest but that is because I know how they do what they do, so I know how to avoid it (most common hacking attempts).
To the people that are afraid of hackers here are some tips for you.
- When signing up for a online wallet/exchange use a brand new email and password. This is help stop bruteforcing attacks. Also never use that email and password for any other website.
- If storing coins on your own computer make sure it is a clean computer or even by a brand new basic computer that will only be used to store your coins. Also only have the computer online if doing transfers.
- Think before you act, many people fall for click bate ads so much definitely here. If the offer sounds to good to be true it is. These links can go to phishing websites, JavaScript injection links, exploited websites or even running exploits to download there payload.
- Dont download random files from the internet, even in the ordinary world it's a bad idea. It can help to run the file through virus total before running but even then your not safe there is such thing called a crypter so virus scanners can be pretty useless at times.
All in all if ou don't want to get hacked you need to be more aware of what you are doing online. What I put above is just the basics and I'm sure there are some other good tips people could also post.
