Have mined a little POLY and looked at the PolyShield service. Looks like an interesting and very useful service.

What I did not quite get is what is the benefit of having POLY? The service description says you can get POLY or MN coins for participating. But does POLY have some use on this service (or otherwise)? -> What would be the reason to accumulate it from PolyShield or otherwise?
