If we are going to send it out to their smart-contract address, 51k gas limit isn't enough. It will be accepted by the network, YES but it will throw an error "Out of Gas". But they already stated that this will not result into a gas war. Not so sure about the offline cold wallet they were talking about. I'm about to find out when February 3 hits. Already prepared my 3ETH for participation. My KYC application just got confirmed over the weekend.
