They ask for your Keystore/Json file to your MEW and your password.. have fun getting scammed lol 
I agree, importing my private keys is preventing me from claiming airdrop. Lol SelfKey is as legit as it can get. It is a desktop wallet and of course it needs a private Key to work.

I really dont think SelfKey is having anything bad in mind but I am always a bit paranoid, so I moved out the funds from my whitelisted address before importing to SelfKey wallet.
I will move funds back once moar established and tested - I love the design!!!
Thats what I did! Crypto people should be educated enough to measure and evaluate their own risk. Anyway - I also dig the wallet so far!
