I think so too, people say that the market is so volatile that checking the history is not worth it, but it looks like that every single year, around this time, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies went down like crazy and after March things stabilized again and the crypto world boomed again. I'm pretty sure that after the Chinese New Year things will be OK and we'll be in the green again.
One other interesting opinion from a whale I know is that if BTC doesn't go to the bottom, the big guys will force it to hit the bottom and then skyrocket it again. What is the bottom you ask? Around the 8k mark.
