I think people will not lose interest because bitcoin is a digital gold that if sold we can benefit from the sale and purchase of bitcoin in addition we can also store bitcoin for the purposes of our lives and our families. 
Like people, no one in this world can not turn around. Bitcoin is gone, you will fall back on another.
