Charge $2,378.00 for an aging and highly inefficient L3+ that nets $7/day and they sell out litening fast. Now the problem is that they are only asking $980 for their latest and most profitable ASIC, so that has everyone 2nd guessing themselves. Baikal is charging $7,000 for their next batch of Giant B and X10 ASICs and will have no troubles selling out, but imagine the ridicule if they would have asked $700 each. People would be like, "Hellz naw, I'm skipping that, psh, for $700 I could snag a GTX 1070 these days." Charge $7,000 each and they be like, "I'll take 6!"
I think Bitmain's pricing has much to do with the Obelisk and their imminent (infinite?) batches and compound coupon offerings. Bitmain decided to price competitively is all, even tho their 2nd batch will still be the only Sia show in town.
