1) New Algorithm
Lyra2z is a new algo, developped by the Zcoin team, also ASIC resistant and until now it can't be mined
on nicehash, favouring small miners who can even mine it with CPU.
2) Masternodes
The Masternode collateral will be CRS 50.000 and owners will split block
rewards 50/50 with miners.
50k net worth for a node but switching to a new algo in favor of small miners? Something doesn't add up here.
Dev, you also may want to look at Phobos who did the same algo change from lyra2v2 to lyra2z and coin swap, there may be some issues to learn from there.
50k is nothing
