Whilst I understand this and applaud the forethought for employee safety, you're asking us, the community, to pay for goods which are 3-6 weeks away from shipping.
You state you need to wait for X amount of people to buy so you can get coins minted at a reasonable price, yet there lies a potential problem...
You don't meet the required number in time that means minting is delayed. The deadline then becomes longer and longer (as less people will buy due to no-one yet receiving their coin).
The question becomes do you honour refunds, pull a BFL (all sales are final, no refunds crap) or just disappear with peoples money?
The option for the latter is definately there because you've remained anonymous to 'protect employees'. You have no traceability.
Casascius has released his details, as has Smoothie. Both deal in silver coins and bitcoin. Both are technically targetable under your logic, yet neither have been.
Casascius' market is the bitcoin community. As much as we wish it was bigger, the bitcoin community is tiny in comparison to the precious metals industry. Many eCommerce bullion businesses do not post their physical address because they are pushing through tens, or hundreds of millions of dollars per month in gold and silver. On any given day they may have up to $10 million dollars in precious metals.
Second Arrow Silver customers are the entire precious metals industry and more. As an example, many of our Second Arrow Silver customers are not bitcoin customers. With their volume, they are much safer not posting their address, and I doubt they will lose much business over it, if any. This company has a lot of great products and really fun to work with.
