I'm over 70 cards now since the racks are full now (that pic was taken over a month ago). The noise is loud, but the exhaust fans cause the majority of the noise. It's an unmanned location, so noise isn't a factor.
Noise might not be a factor .... but fire ... everything is wood in your picture. Dried wood at that heat burns like a match.
Please make sure that you get an adequate (auto) fire extinguishing system installed. Not water based obviously!  Wink

Barring a freak electrical issue, it's setup safely, across the street from a fire department, and fully insured.



Nice rigs. I planned on doing something similar, but the heat just became too much in my basement so I had to cut back. I would have kept going with GPUs if the heat wasn't such an issue, and think there are some fantastic opportunities right now in some of the alt coins like litecoin, feathercoin, and primecoin. Folks are so focused on the ASIC bitcoin race that many seem to be overlooking better opportunities elsewhere...
