I think ETH price and volume will increase under constant demand for token sales, ICOs and offcourse, long term investors. BTC still has the heritage and first born advantage but in a couple of years ETH will surpass him for sure.
I think Ethereum will achieve bitcoin value this year ($ 10k), but to balance bitcoin at the same time is very hard because bitcoin really gets too big community attention including a lot of rich investors have. Those things will help bitcoin will increase a lot this year and Ethereum almost no chance to keep up. However, ETH is still an altcoin that I appreciated.
