January is a traditionally shitty month 
Last year I got so angry in January that I sold my coins for a very low price and bought it for a very high price, I thought it was the end of bitcoin. well time taught me to be patient
I do not think so because of the prohibition problem of BTC. 
certain countries may try to ban bitcoin, but other countries will accept bitcoin. in countries where corruption is very large or in countries where there is no democracy it will be very difficult to accept bitcoin
Much depends on the news coming from the media.
and this is a big problem, news channels are split between bitcoin VS bitcoin trash, unfortunately bitcoin trash supporters spare no effort to attack bitcoin
