India has not banned bitcoin. Someone has already said that India should, like China, strictly restrict bitcoin transactions，they do not prohibit people from investing in bitcoin.
India simply does not recognize Bitcoin as the legal tender, but it also acknowledges blockchain technology that encourages payment systems.
