Note: I wasn't the one to solve this, but I did make significant progress.
I posted around Christmas and because I was unwilling to give away to much information, no one believed that I had made progress on the puzzle. I was actually ridiculed and called schizophrenic, but I was telling the truth. I was legitimately trying to help others make progress. The key was to think like an artist.
Anyway, since there's no information yet about how it was solved, I wrote a blog post about my own progress. Congratulations to the winner.

I think the puzzle is worth exploring even without the financial incentive. It's brilliant, and fun to explore. Maybe my post will help some of you get started.

As much as I have to say that I do not think your theory is correct, I must admire it. I'm having trouble deciphering if it has been done with a hint of sarcasm or if you're genuinely serious. Either way, Well done.
