on the blockchain I just transferred 555 usd btc
BUT the sending wallet say's 6000 usd
But I know for a fact the the sending wallet doesnt have that much
and its from coinbase could someone please explain as This is my first coinbase transaction
On Coinbase (and exchanges in general), you don't have a real wallet. Instead, the "house" holds your funds for you in their wallets. When you sent money, they grabbed a convenient address holding sufficient BTC, sent a portion to you, and returned the change to themselves.
