Ponzi is something quite specific, would be interesting to hear how any coin trading on the free market could fit that description
The tech is different from other coins, especially with Proof of Disintegration which is explained in the new thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2811744.0.
Stake is not over by the way, it's at 100% yearly at the moment, but it's not in high inflation mode any more, that's correct.
