The market is tired of seeing new asic manufacturers pop up requesting full payments months in advance where there is a risk of them either running away or the business (& including the deposits) going down the drain. We believe that there will be enough of a demand for us to take this risk but there are redundancies in place in our business model for that scenario.

The units will be most likely exported from China (to be confirmed within the coming weeks) under a Chinese registered firm. Although our prices will include all the taxes on our side (we would be more or less exempt from PRC VAT), but you might end up having to pay import duties and VAT at customs depending on where you are based. We will try our best to reduce the additional costs (including shipping), but there is only so much that we can do.
