I don't wanna say anything yet in case something falls through. However, I will say I have a few of my developer friends considering helping me with something interesting

Interesting.. I really like the whole webmining. Kinda protects against ASICS and gives everyone a fair chance. Would the new idea be based around web mining also?
It will probably be ASIC-mined if I do what I'm thinking. Remember this, however.. web mining does not change difficulty. You are paid per hash, so if we find 0 blocks you are still making money. You are also not competing with ASICs as they are mining a completely different algorithm. CPU miners via web are not competing with anyone, you are paid a flat rate for your contribution, regardless of pool earnings. This has been and is currently extremely profitable beyond any other coin for a long time now. The top miners are making a shitload of money if they were to dump right away (thank you for not dumping)
