I do not think it's possible because bitcoin is very strong, I'm sure today is the last day bitcoin down and tomorrow bitcoin prices have started to increase again.
Yes, especially today's graph shows clearly that bitcoin will not break 8k towards lower levels again. This last drop is called correction in technical analysis in case you don't know it already. And that is the very natural behavior of markets.
These kinds of movements where the entire market goes down >20% multiple times would be called a crash anywhere else. Only in bizarro-cryptoland would anyone call this a correction.
I think that it's very possible for BTC to drop to 5k but it seems just as likely to me that it surges back to 15k. There just arent' enough people involved in the market yet to prevent these enormous swings.
