So far Merit system is not what i thought it would be. At first i thought it would be good for forum and that it will decrease shitposting, but as time pass by i see everything is the same. High ranks support one another, and in the mean time low ranks are suffering because of that. I do not see many Merit points given to low ranks, and some of those posts are pretty good and useful.
It seams to me that high ranks would consider some post high quality only if its written with fancy words and only if it sounds smart. So i guess that to them if post is simple and useful, it still doesn't belong to high quality posts... And i do not want to start writing about those posts that get too much Merits just because they are legendary, like that "HOLDE" post or what every.
Maybe i am wrong, but time will tell if this Merit system is good or bad. I guess that at least few month needs to pass before i can say for sure.

Same is happening with me. I didn't really got the point yet that how or on which algorithm the merit system is working. It seems static for me since it is applied by btc forum team. Really irritated myself.
