One argument I’ve never seen countered is that even when/if Ethereum scales it will always require transaction fees.


The flip side issue is if there are not transaction fees, what stops someone one from spamming the network with a billion transactions back and forth for DDOS? True Id prefer no transactions fees but we need a plan of how to avoid this. That's the answer I would like to know.

How to avoid ddos without fees. Blacklist IPs won't help Vs a distributed botnet
Limit to max amount of tx per peer per time seems also not a thing we want
