Im using the risers that you say are bad yes, 3 of them are connected directly to sata (only 1 per psu connection) and 3 of them are connected through the 4 pin molex. They have sata, 4pin and 6 pin.


Basically my soure for doing this is this post: https://forum.z.cash/t/the-facts-about-gpu-mining-electrical-specifications/19468 with some additonal googling. Im hoping to avoid sata all together, and I think I will with the new PSU.
