I'm sorry but the more comments I read from you the more I realize that it's a case of poor Due Diligence.
1). Your entire claim is based on one speculative Reddit post. If you read the comment section of that post, you would realize how wrong /u/kamencco (the OP) was (i.e. not fully understanding what scrypt-n is).
2). Taking a step back (assume GRLC isn't ASIC resistant). The coin started off as a meme coin. To most ppl (probably even the devs), scrypt-n is analogous to ASIC-resistant. It's highly defamatory to accuse the devs as scammers. They clearly didn't intend to use "ASIC resistance" as the platform to rip other redditors off. (Of course, there might be a rogue dev right now but I'm pretty sure you weren't specifically describing him).
It's fine to hate GRLC and give constructive criticisms about the coin. However, it's unfair to make sweeping accusations about the coin (i.e. calling it a scam). Also, note that GRLC is a month old meme coin. So please make balanced comparison with decade old currency disruptor like bitcoin.
Garlicoin was released and marketed as
ASIC resistant with the devs either willfully lying or being ignorant. Either would be extremely irresponsible ans showcases their incompetence. "ASIC resistance" is still on the official website...
Garlicoin is NOT ASIC resistant and the developers lied about this. Facts, not speculation. It's sad to be coming to this realization but the truth has to come out.
