Buy, but not BTC. Do that if Lightning Network shows any serious signs of being able to save Bitcoin. If not, you're investing in a heavy, bloated, sinking ship.

But you actually know that Bitcoin and Altcoin prices are moving together and if Bitcoin is a sinking ship most likely many altcoins are sinking ships too?
I agree with you in part: if you invest in great projects, also if Bitcoin is sinking, the valid alt coins projects will resist
