If you want to buy and sell altcoins I would go for bittrex or binance. Both of them have a really good reputation among cryto users, and offer plenty of altcoins for you to trade. I do believe that binance has a larger offer, and more liquidity, but bittrex is planning on offering the possibility to directly buy and trade using USD. If they do that, they will probably become one of the largest exchanges out there.
