Those people that will recognize your post and find it amazing and helpful on their part can say that you had contributed a quality post on their part. But you're right that even you'll post high quality one it doesn't mean that you'll get merit automatically. Wait for others to recognize it and you'll earn it later on.
Take it as a challenge, I know that you are quite stuck at member rank for few months but don't think that you'll stay there forever. You can do it mate cheer up!
