China will block all sites related to cryptocurrency and ICO transactions, including foreign sites. Ads on cryptocurrency and ICO disappeared from Baidu and China's Weibo. China applies a variety of controls to ICOs and domestic and foreign crypto trading platforms, including a decision to ban all other related businesses, such as local and foreign crypto trading sites.
This statement is seen as a "knock-out" to completely stamp out the domestic cryptocurrency market.
We should be expecting this whole thing to come in China as the government is really bent to stamp out any traces of cryptocurrency influence from the country. Now, it can be told the the only cryptocurrency that will happen in China is the one sponsored and issued by the government itself and nothing else. Soon, all Bitcoin mining operations have to ceased doing business in China and should relocate somewhere else. Now, anybody still dreaming that a government could never ban Bitcoin should wake up and realized this great truth: the government has all the power in itself to stop and even prosecute those involved in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. Bitcoin is actually an anti-government kind of thing so in the mindset of China why allowed it to flourish and become an uncontrollable thing?
Now the question is: Will this whole thing render Bitcoin to have no real and beautiful future? Or is there really a way to counteract the government and make it agree to allow Bitcoin?
