By far the easiest step by step guide to setting up Claymore can be found here

Once you are confident that your are setup, and understand the basics then I would recommend you look at undervolting and overclocking

Lastly it should be fun, I've built 3 mining rigs and enjoy building them, but there is a bit of a learning curve so it's better if you enjoy what your doing! Good luck with it
