I'd consider your 2BTC loss as lucky. Many of us have lost much much more experimenting with Bitcoin.

I'll revise my previous statement: As the territory surrounding a risky bet such as BTC stands, only put up what your willing to loose, write it off as a learning experience, and get back in the game!
