First we need to complete the listing on the Next Exchange, where cryptocurrencies will trade against 31 fiat currencies.  If we are successful there we would have 3 exchanges, which would allow us to apply to Shapeshift, which would give us access to the Open Bazaar.  We also need to reactivate the ranking on CoinMarketCap, which became possible with the active API on the FreiExchange.

We need an Android wallet in the Google Play store, which we are working on.

We need to standardize on a central Github repository like datacoin-project.  We are struggling with this issue, but we think we know the owner of this account.

Apertus.io have already prepared various social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat lookalikes, but to deploy them we have to get to Datacoin 0.10.0.  To get there we must still do Datacoin 0.9.0.

Finally we need to deploy Hyperledger on the Datacoin blockchain itself, instead of on private chains.  There has been some progress but we are still far away from doing so.

Those are the most pressing issues at the moment.

But we must not forget what has been achieved.  Chicago released Datacoin 0.8.6.  We have active Twitter, Facebook and Reddit accounts and Datacoin trades on two exchanges.  I feel that the coin has been thoroughly revived and that there is little danger in it being forgotten or superseded.
