Does this mean that in any bios it's enought to take original bios straps and copy MC_SEQ_MISC1/3/8 from 1500 strap to 1750-2250 and then applying nerdralph's strapmods (ACTRD=16, FAW=0, T32AW=0, TRRD=5) will give the same cryptonight speed as modded bios?
I don't think that it will work on Hynix MJR memory. They straps maked by ill mind...

More or less yes, but FAW/T32AW zeroing is not always the best ... as "Speed" is not the only thing we need - we also need stability

That's right. I'm planning to expose ACTRD, ACTWR, FAW, T32AW, TRRD, and MC_SEQ_MISC1/3/8 so that you guys could play with them.
For CryptoNight, you also need to tweak ACTWR. I'm getting around 900 h/s with CryptoNight and RX 480 without overclocking.
Let's see if I can get this stable...
Sounds very promissing ! Remembers me a bit on the "good old times" when we overclocked DDR/DDR2 Rams on Socket 939 or on the 1st batch of Intel Core2Duos ... If ya need a helping/testing hand - just lemme know
