That's true, Upwork needs to be paid inside their site and not outside. It is really against their rule, that is not allowed to have payment outside the contract. Once you are hired it means you need to be paid inside their site. I don't also know that there is a job in upwork that the payment is bitcoin, Upwork paid with dollar and that is what I know.
