I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?
Mining is not a scam, but there are people who use mining as a scam. There are other ways of earning bitcoin, as well as other ways of investing bitcoins asides mining, there are what we call ICOs, they look for investors who are willing to put money to their project to make it functional, then when their ICO becomes a success your invested money to them will make you lots more profit as well.
