Will the principle of the coin remain the same and geared toward children? This will essentially be another relaunched of the same coin just on a newer platform?
This is exactly why I opened discussion, Stellar was not on my list as a potential, I will investigate it to see if it's even compatible with asset preservation.
Correct, the coins you have now would in fact exist on both chains but ongoing development of the X11/POS PIGGY will cease, just like Bitcoin and BitcoinCash (different implementation methodology, snapshot hard fork, though).
Principle and mandate of PIGGY will all remain the same. In fact my personal goal is to be able to transition to PIGGY full time in the capacity of chief architect with a daily focus on edutainment app development (instructional gamification with a PIGGY rewards model).
I am not shooting for a relaunch, more like a major version upgrade / core features enhancement that allows the PIGGY project to leap-frog its present day aged codebase in favor of leveraging the brain trust of a next gen blockchain technology. How to put it simpler ... PIGGY imo was never meant to be a blockchain innovator, lets align and leave those innovations to a superstar team of another open source cryptocurrency project and pull features in as we see fit.
