I just learned about this project and I need to switch 50% of my ETH into ETC 
it looks great and I prefer to stake it than just hold my ETH for ICOs ^^
To receive airdrop all I need is to hold my ETC on my private ETH adress right ?
I never used ETC can I send it to my ETH adress on MEW ? or it's a different wallet ?

I just did some research and installed Ethereum Classic network wallet last night. Basically there are two wallets which are guaranteed for receiving airdrops. one is etherum classic, another one is browser extension ETC metamusk. I used the latter. It is very easy to set up - exactly the same as the normal ethereum metamusk. I also transferred 0.1 ETC from Binance which was successful. Fee is 0.01ETC so I received 0.09 within 5 minutes.
MEW wallet may work but you need to select the correct ETC network as a source. It seems a bit complicated so I simply passed it. Cheers.
