Same here. the two Hynix were from the same shop (got mine for 229 plus tax cad$). I just prefer having the flexibility of switching to whichever algo is most profitable at the time. Especially since eth is looking to boom in the next few days. at least the signs point to it.
Yeah, of course it would be preferable to also be able to mine ethash on the cards, just saying I got lucky the way things turned out with equihash being such a profitable algo for this period. What kind of hashrate do you get on the Samsung ones? 24-25 MH/s? I can only get mine to arbout 18.5 +/- before they become unstable.
Got mine for about USD 220, just days after they were selling for around 350 due to the shortage.
I'm running them at 70% pl, +675-700 mem, +100 core.
temp are 55-60C, total power draw is 896watts on 9 cards
Samsungs are giving 23.5-24 mhs (i know i can run these at 750-800 mem) but have decided not to push them.
Hynix are doing 19 mhs at 70% pl, 500 mem, 50 core.
on equihash i cant tell difference between the cards yet but im sure 315 sols isnt going to be an issue.
