Do you guys think this is going to be huge for cryptocurrency or just a KFC marketing scheme?
Just a KFC marketing strategy to make their company's name more beautiful specially too crypto peoples like us. But this is a good step for making more advertisement about crypto currencies and more people will be curious of what crypto currencies are. 
Both i think they are using bitcoin to create a new marketing scheme but i think they are also going to build a new cryptocurrency for their product hoping that they will create also a ico for kfc
Correct they are using crypto currency to market their fast food chain, and what you just have said that they might create their own crypto currency for their business is really possible and they don't want to be left out in terms of technology. But I don't think that anyone will pay bitcoin just to buy that "Bitcoin Bucket" because of the high fees that they would pay to transact their payments to KFC.
