Hi everybody,

First, excuse for my english, I hope you can read me easily.

I've just heard about Bitcoin on a weblog and I downloaded it.

I'm on a linux system (Ubuntu), so I took the linux installer.

I extracted the files of the downloaded archive and I tried to launch the executable named bitcoin (in bitcoin-0.3.19-linux/bitcoin-0.3.19-linux/bin/) by double clicking on the icon wich appears as executable.

But, just nothing happens. So, I tried to launch it as a shellscript and I get the following error message :

Code:
pogo@pogo-desktop:~/Téléchargements/bitcoin-0.3.19-linux/bitcoin-0.3.19/bin/32$ sudo sh bitcoin
[sudo] password for pogo:
bitcoin: 1: ELFB4tl4: not found
bitcoin: 7: Syntax error: "(" unexpected (expecting ")")
pogo@pogo-desktop:~/Téléchargements/bitcoin-0.3.19-linux/bitcoin-0.3.19/bin/32$

Can someone help me?

Thank you for your future answers.
