Yesterday, the time was finally there. After being announced for a few weeks now, Baritus (the creator of DigitalCoin) introduced us to his newest creation : SecureCoin.
This coin is meant to be mined on CPUs only, either with the regular cpuminer, or the QuarkCoin miner. No word on any GPU support, but im fairly certain we might never see it being mined on GPUs.
The unique part about this coin is that it consists of several algorithms, which are : Grøstl, Skein, BLAKE, BLUE MIDNIGHT WISH, JH and SHA-3. Some of these names may sound familiar to you , because this coin lends some of the concepts from other coins. This list includes YaCoin (YAC), SIF, Digitalcoin(DGC) and, of course, Bitcoin(BTC).
